Treaty of Middelburg
If I could change something in the world regarding freedom, I would choose increasing access to education. Education can open so many doors for bright minds, unfortunately, not everyone is able to access this. As a result, blocking the freedom of sharing creative ideas and exploration.

Why do you want to participate?
I believe that discussion with interdisciplinary groups spark inspiration for change and innovation. Coming from a Food Technology background with electives in social subjects, I have really built an understanding between science and social, which I believe require collaboration in order to effectively move forward. But this also requires the freedom to think and act cooperatively, without limitations. As an extrovert, I also enjoy meeting people in general so I am sure this will be fun.
What does freedom mean to you?
Freedom means having the choice to choose for yourself with no restrictions as long as it does not affect others people's freedom.
What are the biggest challenges?
The biggest freedom challenges for young people today is access to quality education. Education strongly builds character and skills. Without these, it is easy to lose momentum. This applies strongly for families who are struggling, one generation could easily lead to the same struggle for the next generation if they are not giving the opportunity to learn and to be able to think freely.
